My 4,000 Mile Photography Road Trip Across Europe

Earlier in the year I drove the all-electric Lotus Eletre from my home in Edinburgh, all the way to Barcelona and back again. It was a mammoth trek, encompassing torrential rain, busy city centres and dangerous blizzards on mountain roads.

But it was also one of the best photography expeditions I’ve ever done, letting me indulge in landscape imagery, street and travel photography and of course turning my hand to automotive photography too in order to capture the shots I needed of the car on location.

You can read my full written article about the car on CNET, but the video above shows the photography I did on the journey. And, if you’re interested, you can read more info on how I produced my videos while also driving solo for 8 hours a day.

It was certainly a challenge having to do so much entirely alone over the thousands of miles I covered but I’m really happy with the resulting videos, articles on CNET and the photos I took. You can see my top selection below.
